Artwork Guidelines

To help achieve the best quality stickers printed with Rockin Monkey.

Resolution

Just like whatever screen you’re reading this on, everything that’s printed has a resolution as well. The higher the image resolution, the higher the level of detail seen when printed. This is measured in dots per inch, or DPI.

Resolution is not a measure of size, but rather pixel density, or how tightly packed those pixels are within a square inch. Just like your screen, the more tiny dots you can cram in there, the higher the sharpness and detail will be. Low-resolution images tend to have rough, blocky edges.

Suppose your image looks pixelated, blurry, or has digital artifacts when you’re looking at it on your screen. In that case, your stickers will look just like when printed. If you can send us an image at 300dpi or higher, that would be best.

File Formats

We accept PDF, AI, PSD, PNG, JPG, SVG, and TIFF files. If you need to send multiple files, you are more than welcome to send a ZIP file.

If you want to send us a PDF, we've create a preset just for you! Download Here

We know not everyone is going to be making their own vector files, and that's fine! We don't expect anyone to know image editing software like Photoshop.

We want you to be able to give us your image, and know that we'll turn it into awesome stickers you can share with the world!

CMYK / RGB

To keep this answer from spiraling out of control with a bunch of technical info about color conversions, we recommend creating your artwork in RGB and using the Adobe RGB (1998) ICC profile.

We have two version available depending on what program you are using to create your artwork.

For Mac and PC users running Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.

For Procreate Users running on an iPad or Android device.

Copyright

Don't send us someone else's artwork or logo. By sending us an image file you are acknowledging that you own the rights to the artwork. If we suspect the artwork does not belong to you, we may ask for proof.

If no proof of ownership  or authorship can be provided, we'll ask that you send us a different image or if you'd like to cancel the order.

NSFW

Bring it on! We believe that your artwork or image is your own voice, and we happy to help you share that.

We get a lot of images that have nudity, graphic content, and/or profanity on them. Your art is what you make it, and unless it falls into the category below (hate speech), we're down for printing it for you. It makes our jobs a lot more interesting!

Hate Speech & Bullying

We will not print hate speech or anything that expresses self harm or threat to anyone on the basis of race, religion, or sexual orientation.

We love that you're thinking about using our service to help spread your message, but not if it's going to spread hate or violence against others. Images flagged by our team will be reviewed on a case by case basis. If we feel as though your image falls into this category, we will reach out to let you know.

This section does not include political, satire, or fantasy/cartoon violence. This applies more to straight racism or harm to people and/or animals.
