Satin is our standard finish for all of our stickers unless otherwise noted on your order. It is a happy medium between glossy and matte. We love it because it has a great overall finish. If you want something to showcase your sticker indoors and outdoors, this is the finish for you!

No matter what finish you choose, they all protect your sticker from UV rays, keeping it looking like we just printed it for you. Plus, they are easy to apply, making them a convenient choice for any project.

Unfortunately, that's a secret. We've worked hard on our process throughout the years and revolutionized how holographic stickers are made. Therefore, we will not tell you.

Unfortunately, we cannot make your image into a cartoon character. That would be considered design work, and we are a print-ready shop.

No, they are not the same. A transfer decal consists of vinyl with transfer tape on top, allowing you to remove the backing paper, apply the decal to a surface, and then remove the transfer tape. These decals feature letters or images without any background or vinyl between them, as the vinyl is cut around each letter individually. On the other hand, a die-cut sticker is a solid piece of vinyl with your design printed on it, cut to the shape of your image or logo.

Transfer decals, often in a single color, are a cost-effective choice. Adding more colors increases the cost, as each color requires a separate vinyl layer to be cut and applied. This is particularly useful when considering designs for Rtic, Yeti cups, or vehicle decals.

On the other hand, a die-cut sticker is a printable vinyl cut to the shape of your image or logo. This means you can customize the shape around your design, whether square, round or any other shape you desire. The vinyl remains intact throughout the sticker, providing a solid background for your design.

Unfortunately, we no longer produce transfer decals. The best solution for purchasing transfer decals would be to visit a local sign shop in your area and discuss your job requirements with them.

Yep, email us for a copy of your proof, and we will send you your mockup as a PDF that can be used universally with other companies or graphic designers.

Many people ask this! The best way to remove your sticker from the backing paper is simple: Hold the sticker facing you. Find an edge of the sticker. "Roll" the edge of the sticker.

Use the pad of your finger when rolling the edge of the sticker toward the middle area of your sticker. We recommend finding an edge of the sticker with the most surface area, such as the corners or the sides, to get a good grip on the sticker.

Using the roll technique, you will not create gouges or marks from your fingernail when pulling the backing paper away.

You sure can! The sticker will remain repositionable while the adhesive is wet.

Please be aware that the adhesive will only begin to adhere to the surface when the surface behind the sticker is completely dried.

Yes, our stickers are vegan and cruelty-free. Although it's not something we initially considered, we can confirm that our stickers do not contain animal products and are not tested on animals. Our vinyls and laminates are made from PVC, and our inks are derived from refined mineral oils.

While you can use them as pasties if you're feeling adventurous, please be aware that removing them might not be all that comfortable. These stickers are made from vinyl adhesive and are not designed for skin application. Our stickers are not intended or marketed for use on the skin.

We'll print almost anything you send us! We're not afraid of bad language or nude images, so feel free to get creative. However, we won't print images that show or promote hate speech or any trademarked/licensed content (sorry, Disney and NFL fans!).

Our white vinyl stickers are microwave-safe so you can use them without worry. However, our holographic stickers contain foil elements, which are unsafe for microwave use. The metallic components can cause sparks and potentially damage your microwave. To keep things safe, only use our white vinyl stickers in the microwave and avoid placing stickers with foil inside.

Yes, we do! We offer a sample pack, which we call a 'Sample Crate,' that includes each of our materials and finishes, along with a color and text guide.

The Sample Crate also contains a pamphlet explaining the uses and benefits of each material. It's a great way to see and feel the quality of our products before placing a larger order.

Holographic Materials

Yes, they do. Our holographic materials have a Glossy UV laminate. Our Phantom™ Stickers have a pebbled Matte UV laminate. Both laminates protect your stickers from fading, cracking, or peeling for 3 years.

When ordering, you have two opportunities to let us know if you want certain areas to be holographic. You can select specific areas from a dropdown menu, choose to make the entire design holographic, or let us decide for you.

Holographic Stickers are a stunning way to make your designs stand out with their mesmerizing, multi-dimensional effect. These stickers reflect light in a full spectrum of colors, creating a dynamic and eye-catching display.

Hologram Stickers are visually striking and durable, perfect for adding brilliance to your company logo or personal stickers. Hologram stickers are crafted using laser technology to create intricate, multi-dimensional designs that shimmer and change colors in the light. These stickers are produced by engraving patterns onto the surface with lasers, resulting in a vibrant and captivating holograph effect, which is a service we do not offer.

The best option for a "gold foil" effect sticker is to choose our chrome vinyl and tell us in the notes that you want it to look like gold foil. We will put a layer of yellow ink over the chrome sticker, giving it the gold foil look.

Unfortunately, no. Our specialty stickers, like holographic and glow, are vinyl substrates, not liquid inks. This means that they cannot be combined with each other or with our clear vinyl. We can only print inks on these materials. It would be cool though!

Glow in The Dark

Your stickers have been enclosed in a dark box, waiting for you to bring them into the light. They need time to absorb the light. Your stickers should only need a few hours to show you their glow powers.

The glow typically lasts about 15 minutes from each charge and begins losing its charge after about 3 minutes. The glow will be very faint by the 45-60 minute mark.

Hint: If you want the glow effect POP on your stickers, use a black light to charge them!

Yes, they are. We offer a UV protective laminate in Glossy and Matte. Both laminates protect your stickers from fading, cracking, or peeling for 3 years.

No, we do not. We offer the standard light green base color for our Glow-in-the-Dark stickers.

When ordering, you have two opportunities to let us know if you want certain areas to glow. You can select specific areas from a dropdown menu, choose to make the entire design glow in the dark, or let us decide for you.

It depends on your design. The lighter the color, the more it will glow. Darker colors block out the Glow In The Dark effect. So, colors like black, navy, dark reds, dark blues, dark purples, etc. will block the Glow-in-the-Dark effect.  However, colors like pink, light green, light blue, etc., will show the glow effect once the glow is activated. 

Our Glow-in-the-Dark stickers looks faintly green when not activated.

Reorders

Place an order like normal for the sticker type, quantity, and size you are reordering. In the notes section, please let us know the previous order number you want us to reference for this reorder.

Remember that when placing a reorder, if you order a different size or type of vinyl than you did on your previous order, it is no longer considered a "reorder." We will pull the image from the previous order and use it on this order, but we will change the vinyl or size to match what you are currently ordering.

Of course. When placing your order, just let us know in the notes what changes you would like made. We will send you a new proof to approve with the requested changes. You will then have the opportunity to review and approve it before we proceed with the production of your stickers.

Remember that when placing a reorder, if you order a different size or type of vinyl than you did on your previous order, it is not considered a "reorder." We will pull the image from the previous order and use it on this order, but we will change the vinyl or size to match what you are currently ordering.

It's a limitation within the Shopify platform we use for Rockin Monkey. We will implement a solution as soon as we find one, but there does not seem to be an answer in the foreseeable future.

Proofing Your Stickers

No worries; there's a comment section where you can tell us what you want to change. Once the changes are made we'll resend you the proof for your approval. You can repeat this process as many times as you like until you're happy!

Not a problem! If your sticker isn't turning out how you want it after seeing the proof, we'll gladly issue a full refund.

AI is becoming a more useful tool across many industries, except sticker printing. It's getting close, but it is still in the development phase. It's somewhat possible with basic shapes like circles and squares, but since weoffer a more hands-on approach when creating the print file, white-ink layers, minor adjustments to the image adding or changing text, etc. still need to be set up by a human graphic designer in our design software.

Trust me; you want a real person setting up your stickers rather than an automated system for something so customized.

There are a few common reasons why you might not have received your mockup:

1. Spam Folder: Sometimes, our emails may get filtered into your spam or junk folder. This can happen if your email account has a high or aggressive spam filter. Please check these folders to ensure our email wasn't misdirected.

2. Incorrect Email Address: Occasionally, the email address on your order might be different from the one you typically use. This often happens with PayPal payments, where the email associated with your PayPal account might auto-fill during checkout. Please verify that the email address listed on your order is correct to ensure we send your proof to the right place.

3. High Order Volume: During periods of high order volume, such as our Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, there may be a delay in sending out proofs. We strive to work on proofs as quickly as possible, but the increased demand can sometimes cause delays.

We prioritize quality and accuracy in our proofing process. We want to ensure that your order is exactly as you imagined, so we take the time needed to make any necessary changes or tweaks to your mockup. By providing a thorough and precise proofing process, we aim to avoid any delays in getting your order into production.

If you received an email titled "Your proof is ready to view," a link will be included, giving you access to view and approve your mockup via our proofing portal.

No, every time you request changes, the timer stops. A new 48-hour timer will begin once we upload a new version of your proof.

If your order contains multiple line items, all of your stickers must be approved before we can send the entire order to production. We do not send one approved sticker to print while waiting for you to approve the other sticker(s).

Sending individual stickers to production at different times would create chaos within the order and our production department. Each order follows a specific process, including customer service, proofing, production, quality check, and shipping. Going back and forth between production and customer service would only delay your order. We have streamlined our process to ensure your order is completed and shipped as quickly as possible.

If you need a specific line item sooner than the others, please reach out to our customer service team. We will do our best to accommodate your request and set up your order in the most efficient way possible.

Notices and Warnings

If your proof includes an Image Quality Warning, it means we have concerns about the image potentially not printing clearly or may appear pixelated. This warning indicates that the current image file may not meet the necessary resolution standards for a high-quality print.

To resolve this issue, please send us a new file with a higher resolution (dots per inch or dpi). Alternatively, you can provide a different type of file format that may be better suited for printing. Doing so can help ensure that your image prints out clearly and without any pixelation, potentially eliminating the need for the Image Quality Warning.

If this occurs, please send your new image file to info@rockinmonkey.com, along with your order number. 

If there is an Image Quality Warning on your proof and you approve it, the sticker will be sent to production as is. We will not refund or reprint your stickers due to pixelation or legibility if you have approved it with the Image Quality Warning on the proof.

If your proof has a Quantity Increase notice, it means that the dimensions of your image do not match the size you originally ordered. Without changing the size of your final stickers, we will adjust the number of stickers you receive to ensure you still get the same amount of vinyl material you paid for.

For example, if you order 3" x 3" (9 sq/in), but your image is 1" x 3" (3 sq/in), and you want to maintain the 3" width/height, we will produce more stickers to compensate for the difference in vinyl usage. So you will receive three stickers for every 1" x 3" ordered as a 3" x 3". This way, you get the full value of your purchase in terms of vinyl material, even though the number of stickers may increase.

For example, if your image is smaller than the size you ordered, we will produce more stickers to compensate for the difference in vinyl usage. This way, you receive the full value of your purchase in terms of vinyl material, even though the number of stickers may increase.

Rest assured, this adjustment is made to maximize the value of your order and ensure you receive the correct amount of product based on the original size and cost specifications.

If your proof has a Size Adjustment notice, it means that the dimensions of your image do not match the size you originally ordered. In these instances, we will adjust the final sticker size to ensure you still get the same amount of vinyl material you paid for.

For example, if you order 3" x 3" (9 sq/in) but your image is 2" x 3" (6 sq/in), we will proportionally increase the size of your sticker to 2.5" x 3.6" (9 sq/in). This way, you receive the full value of your purchase in terms of vinyl material, even though the size of stickers will increase slightly.

Rest assured, this adjustment is made to maximize the value of your order and ensure you receive the correct amount of product based on the original size and cost specifications.

Depending on the ink mixture of the reds or blues in your image, we may have to adjust the mixtures on our end so that once the image is printed, it will look like the image you sent to us.

A lot goes into printing colors accurately, and our Prepress Department is extensively trained to make adjustments to get your colors looking exactly as you expect them to.

Tracking Your order Status


You are given 48 hours to approve your proof. If you do not approve your proof within that time, we will send a reminder email informing you that your approval will expire soon. If you still do not approve your proof within 72 hours of us sending it to you, your order will be sent to production as is.

This policy is stated in the email notifying you that your proof is ready for viewing and on the proof itself.

If you received the "proof is ready to view" email, you can access and approve your proof directly from the link within that email. If you encounter any issues viewing your proof, please contact us via our chat system on our website or email us at info@rockinmonkey.com. We will promptly send your proof to you via email to ensure you can review and approve it.

There are two ways to track your order:
Order Number: You can use your order number to track your order status.

Email Address: Alternatively, you can enter the email address you used when placing your order.

Both methods will provide you with up-to-date information on the progress of your order. If you need any further assistance, please contact our customer service team.

Sometimes your order will 'sit' in this stage while your order is queued for printing. A couple of factors go into queuing your order; these include approval date and material types.

As soon as your order is sent to print, we'll update you on the status of the printer to which your order was sent.

Every order we produce is custom-made and goes through several detailed steps to ensure high quality. These steps include setup, printing, laminating, cutting, and a thorough quality inspection. Your USPS tracking number will be provided in an email with the subject line, "Your order (order number) is on the way!" Please check your inbox for this email to find your tracking information. If you need help locating it, feel free to contact our customer service team.

Order Statuses Explained


If your artwork was not uploaded when placing the order, it will be placed on hold with the status 'Missing Artwork.' If you see that your order has been assigned this status, please email your artwork to us as soon as possible. You can do this by sending the attached artwork to info@rockinmonkey.com. This will allow us to proceed with your order promptly.


After your order is placed, it is forwarded to our Prepress Department, where one of our talented designers will create your mockup for you to review. This process typically takes 1-2 business days before your mockup is ready.


Our Prepress designers have finished your proof, which is now ready for your review. If everything looks good, you can click the 'Approve' button. You can also request changes as many times as you'd like.

We want to ensure you get exactly the stickers you want, so if you see something you don't like or want to change, please let us know in the comments section. Your satisfaction is our priority; we're here to ensure you get the perfect stickers.

At this stage, we're preparing your finalized artwork from your proof and determining which printer will print your awesome stickers! Your order is being queued for printing and will soon be on its way to production.

Depending on the types of stickers you order, your stickers might be printed on two or three different printers. This allows us to optimize production and ensure the highest quality for your stickers.


Your order typically only stays in this status for a short time. As your order is being cut and removed from the printer, it undergoes a quick inspection for dust, ink issues, cutline centering, and correct quantities.

Once your order is filled, it moves into the shipping room for a second round of inspection and packaging. Here, your order is quality inspected again, quantities are verified, signed off on, and then packaged and shipped.
