What's So Great About Stickers?

What’s so great about stickers? Well, in our opinion - everything! Obviously, we love stickers so much, we made a business out of it. If you’re here, reading this, you’re probably wondering how you could use them for yourself.

Stickers are an amazing cost-effective way to get your personalized design, artwork or logo out into the world. You can use them in so many different ways and they attract people of all ages. Kids love them, teenagers use them on water bottles, or miscellaneous products, and adults sticker bomb a variety of things - computers, tool chests, garage shelves, etc. My husband even sticker bombed a bookshelf edge in my office. I thought it would be chaotic, but it turned out to be an interesting piece that really draws your eye to the books.

Artists who create their own work, no matter the medium, can use stickers as an alternate, more portable version of their artwork. We even have some artists who like to use stickers with the gallery or artist contact information to be placed on the back of their canvases. Some artists who create using Adobe, Canva, or Procreate print sticker versions of their work as additional ways to stock up their website or online marketplace.

With stickers you have the ability to take one design and turn it into multiple varieties of stickers. You can have the design as a standard sticker (on regular white vinyl), but you can also have that design printed in one of our specialty vinyls like holographic, pixie, chrome, clear, etc. The different versions of the design attract different types of people. If someone is looking for just a regular sticker, then the standard version of that design is for them. However; if they want a sticker that “pops” a pixie dust or holographic sticker would draw them to purchase that sticker. The diversity that stickers give helps boost the amount of products you have to offer.

Over the past few years we’ve also worked with a professor at a local university who has her students create stickers to go with a final project they work on. The student creates something that goes with their project and hands out one to each of their fellow students while presenting to their class. Using stickers as an additional tangible item adds something fun to what you're doing. This could also be said for birthday parties; whether that be as a party favor, scattered on the tables with the decor, or on cups.

We have two kids and recently took their artwork and turned it into stickers for them. The shock and awe factor was well worth it! The kids were able to put them on their water bottles for school but also got to hand out a some to their friends. Stickers are the new pogs (I just dated myself there… but it had to be said)! If you don’t know what pogs are… we can compare them to Pokemon cards.

A big sticking point (…see what I did there?) with many customers is the fact that stickers are removable. If a newer design is made of a sticker, they can peel off the old one and replace it with the updated version. If a persons interest has changed and they no longer want to represent that design/product, the sticker can be removed without damaging the product it is placed on. Some stickers (like transfer decals) require more work to remove them than regular stickers do, but they are still removable.

There aren’t many other products out there that will give you the design choices and pricing better than stickers. The appeal of stickers is so well rounded. To get philosophical on you - stickers transcend ages and genders. Since this is going to be posted during the holidays, I’ll leave you with this. If you don’t like stickers… you’re a grinch!
